Why do I use video interviewing for selected assignments?
Through the use of video interview technology, I provide candidates with the opportunity to bring their CV and Application to life. This helps me present their profile in a clear and concise manner. This in turn helps my clients to make quicker and better-informed decisions.
This is particularly useful for candidates at the start of their careers as work experience is often limited or for those vacancies where a high volume of applications is expected. The use of video interview technology significantly increases the information available to the recruiter, helping to shortlist in a more efficient and time effective manner.
Why use it for your Early Career or Volume recruitment assignments?
Our research finds that video interviews are extremely helpful in providing a more rounded candidate profile and so I use this information to help assist in the selection of the best candidates for your position.
I incorporate it in the following manner:
- Write engaging copy and promote on job boards, social media and my network.
- I undertake an initial screening of candidate applications, ensuring that the submitted profiles match the agreed criteria we have set for the role.
- I invite appropriate candidates to complete the video introduction, which involves 5 or 6 behavioural questions which gives the candidate the opportunity to highlight their personality and approach.
- I share with you the URL links for the candidate applications. You will then be able to access the full video interview as well as the candidate profile and CV. I can also share these links with any members of your team for group feedback.
- Once you have reviewed the candidate applications and selected the candidates that you would like to meet in person, then we will arrange these meetings for you.
- Manage the offer/rejection process through to completion.

This is a cost-effective way of recruiting for certain positions. The technology allows us to cover a lot more ground, meaning we can get through the candidate assessment phase a lot quicker. This means that I can structure a fee that takes all of this into account.
I can also include branded online adverts for each position with unlimited video interviews available for each assignment.
I have Associates geographically spread across the UK and Europe. This means we are able to source candidates from not just your local market, but from across the EU. This is particularly useful for vacancies that have language requirements or difficult to find skill sets.
